Katrina Darrell’s recent brush with the law is not the only thing sounding sirens. The 2009 American Idol contestant proudly sports a pair of perky breasts; likely the result of cosmetic surgery.

Recently arrested in California, Darrell was brought in by police for running a red light and hitting another vehicle.  She is being charged with two counts of misdemeanor hit-and-run and a DUI from the March incident. Despite blowing twice the legal alcohol limit in California, the former “Bikini Girl” contestant has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Though it is not clear at this point if she guilty as charged, based on recent pictures, it is evident that the 25 year old has opted to enhance her bikini body with a breast augmentation. When we were first introduced to Katrina three years ago, she confidently flaunted a gorgeous body but with a very conservative cup size. Filling out her bikini quite a bit more these days, the Italian, French, American Indian, and Spanish singer/model continues to grab our attention.

It is quite common for women in the spotlight to undergo the cosmetic procedure for a fuller cup size, and reconstruction and feel of the breast; implants are often saline or silicone.

Katrina first came into the public eye when she auditioned in nothing but a teeny bikini for the eighth season of American Idol. She openly insulted judge, Kara DioGuardi who then went on to get her revenge on Darrell when she overshadowed her in a rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love.” Though Katrina did not make it to the finale, she definitely left a lasting impression with viewers.

Her plastic surgery may not be breaking news, but Wendy Williams is getting some serious press (and heat) for her recent comments about plastic surgery. Wendy, a prominent African-American talk show host, recently discussed her own surgery choices with others.

She has been criticized for making drastic changes to her face and body with plastic surgery including significant breast implants (which she loves dearly), and Wendy is not the type to shy away from confrontation if it means sharing her personal opinion on the black community.

This time she was looking right at other black women when she told a popular women’s website, “[Black women] are jealous. Because if I said to that person, ‘I got the doctor and I’m going to pay for it. Choose three things you want to do,’ believe me, they would get it done. They are very jealous and scared. Scared of what their other friends would say, or to break out of the box and be different. And being Black? Ugh, please. My people will not go for any kind of surgery. We are supposed to be natural. Ugh, whatever.”

Her strongly worded comments have been praised by many as Wendy Williams is certainly not the only black female celebrity to see cosmetic surgery, but the comments are also being met with resistance.

This is not news for Wendy, however, as her breast implants are well-known additions. Wendy is honest about her surgery and her appreciation for her newly improved contours. She is so honest she even admits to learning to sleep on her back so that she doesn’t wake up one day with “a deflated breast” that will need replacing and repair.

Wendy may be causing a stir with her comments about plastic surgery, but from where we’re sitting it all sounds reasonable. There is certainly a lot of good that can come from plastic surgery – and Wendy’s open attitude showcases that beautifully.

There is “no doubt” that Gwen Stefani is the epitome of cool. First breaking out with an incredibly successful rock group, then selling millions of records as a solo artist, oh and did I mention her fashion empire? She also has an incredibly sexy husband and two, gorgeous children.

This might come as a surprise, but Brooke Burke is 40 years old. She looks as good as women half her age, and she’s even had 4 children.
